Hyundai Verna facelift India launch live front
The Verna facelift gets newly-designed headlights with projector lights, a new dual-slat chrome grille, a redesigned front bumper with new foglights, and LED effect for the taillights.
Inside, the music system now gets 1GB of in-built storage and the front passenger seat gets an ‘Ergo’ lever which can be used for adjustment fore and aft by the rear seat passenger.
The sedan is offered with a range of four engine options – 1.4-liter petrol and diesel, and 1.6-liter petrol and diesel. The petrol units are paired to 5-speed transmissions while the diesels get a 6-speed manual. The 1.6-liter petrol and diesel are optionally available with a 4-speed automatic transmission.

The diesel engines get a minor improvement in fuel efficiency. The ARAI rated figure for the 1.4-liter diesel is up by 1.3 km/l to 24.8 km/l, while the 1.6-liter diesel sees an improvement to 23.9 km/l.
All variants of the Verna will come with ABS as standard. The top-end variants are available with 6 airbags, just like the outgoing model.
